Dr. Khalida Soki

Medical Director (MBChB, MMed Int. Med, FISN (UK) )

"I am a consultant physician and kidney specialist. Since my return to Kenya from the UK in 2018, I have participated in over 20 kidney transplants in Nairobi, successfully run a large hemodialysis unit, grown a clinic for kidney disease and helped write the COVID19 guidelines for the Ministry of Health in Kenya. I am the organizing secretary for the young nephrologists committee at the African association of Nephrology and an honorary lecturer for the East African Kidney Institute. Noting the striking lack of information and support for patients with chronic kidney disease and kidney failure in Nairobi, I partnered with Nairobi Hospital in a support group for hemodialysis patients and with Transplanted Kenya to start a support group for kidney transplant donors and recipients. It is an honor to collaborate with Figo Plus in the role of Medical Director. The Figo Plus dialysis unit is the epitome of patient-focused care, providing safe, high quality hemodialysis in a beautiful and tranquil environment. As part of an expert multidisciplinary team, it is our mission to provide wholesome care for every client that comes to us requiring dialysis."
